We elaborate these delicious tender pastries, with a surprising texture, with a careful selection of almonds, egg yolks and sugar. Due to their main ingredients, we can say that they are our Basque macarons. They contain 45% almonds and egg yolks.

INGREDIENTS: 

ALMOND (45%), EGG, sugar, glucose syrup, stabilizer: sorbitol, corn starch, salt, preservative: sorbic acid. For desserts, or accompaniment with coffee.

Due to their ingredients and shape, they are very similar to macarons, since they contain both: almond, egg and sugar. Gorrotxas have double almond content and instead of egg white that macarons contain, they contain egg yolk.
